ANU – The Museum of the Jewish People A Virtual Tour by Shari Robins

Formally called the Diaspora Museum, ANU: The Museum of the Jewish People explores the history, identity, and culture of Jews living in Israel and worldwide. Each element makes up and threads together one Jewish story. How does one tell this story, and what are some of the behind-the-scenes issues in creating ANU? We will virtually tour the museum with Israeli tour guide Shari Robins and understand how it can be seen through the lenses of different Jewish communities and topics. Being the largest Jewish museum globally, we will highlight a few of its displays and hopefully leave with some questions regarding Jewish identity, perhaps in relation to your own.
